Vintage Sewing Patterns

Vintage original 1970s Simplicity Sewing pattern 8285.  Boys' Pants, Vest and Jacket. 

Pants with fly front zipper have side pockets, waistband and carriers.  Lined jacket with front button closing has notched collar, flaps, welt, top stitching and long set in sleeves with button trim. Top stitched lined vest has front button closing.

Vintage Original Simplicity Boys and Teen Boys Pajama Sewing pattern in two lengths.

The pajama top has front button closing, set in sleeves and patch pocket.  V. 1 & 2 have notched collar.  V. 1 & 3 have long sleeves.  V. 2 & 4 have short sleeves.  Collarless V. 3 & 4 with V shaped neckline have top stitching trim.  The long pants V. 1 & 3 and the short pants V. 2 & 4 with elastic waistline casing have fly front closing with snap fasteners.

Vintage Simplicity sewing pattern 4963. Original 1960s boys shirt and pants in two lengths.

Loosely fitting shirt has forward shoulder seams and short set in sleeves with turn back cuffs. V. 1 features patch pockets and braid trim on collar and pocket edges.  V. 2 and 3 shirt is worn inside pants.  Pants have elastic in back waistband and concealed pockets in side seams.  V.'s 1 and 2 long pants may have belt carriers for a purchased belt. Self fabric suspenders, stitched to back and buttoned to front waistline, are optional for V. 3 short pants.

Vintage Simplicity sewing pattern 5871. Original 1970s Toddlers' Pullover Vest, Top and Wide Leg Pants pattern. (Vest and Top sized for stretch knits only).

The top stitched pullover vest with "U" shaped neckline has lower band of purchased ribbed banding.  The top with back zipper has stand up collar and long set in sleeves.  The wide leg pants have front waistband, back elastic waistline casing and turn back cuffs.

Vintage Original Simplicity Toddlers' Jumpsuit in two lengths and Bubblesuit, Sewing pattern with giraffe transfer.

The jumpsuit V. 1 & 3 and the bubblesuit V. 2 have lowered round neckline and shoulder extensions buttoned to front.  V. 1 is short length.  v. 2 has elastic casings at leg edges.  ankle length V. 3 has applique.

Vintage original 1940s Simplicity sewing pattern for Boy's shirt and shorts. Shirt is finished with a convertible collar, and buttons in front. It may be made with short sleeves or long sleeves gathered to a wristband. The sturdy looking shorts, made with a side opening, have inserted pockets, trimmed with appliqued welts. The top is faced and a belt is slipped through belt carriers and buckled in front.
