Vintage Postcards

Wonderful vintage large letter postcard, "Greetings from Port Arthur, Texas." Large Letter Linen which is unused.  This 1940s travel souvenir postcard features an oil well, a view of the state capital building and Texas spelled out in large letters.

Card is unused.  Condition is good with soiling to the back and some light soiling around the edges of the front.  Also has a bumped upper right corner.

Back reads: Constructed at a cost of $60,000,000, the huge dam is located between Denison, Texas and Durant, Oklahoma.  Length of main dam 14,000 feet; dike extension 7,800 feet; maximum height 165 feet. Reservoir will inundate 127,600 acres in Texas and Oklahoma.

Card is unused.  Condition is very good.

Vintage 1960s souvenir chrome postcard showing the Trade Winds Motel & Restaurant at Sherman, Texas. Card is unused but has names written on it.

Measures 5.5 x 3.5 inches.. Condition is very good.

Published by Samson Brothers of New York, NY. Used with 1911 Blessing, Texas postmark. Mailed to Miss Helena Milius at Helvey, Nebraska. Has a one cent stamp.

Condition is good with edge and corner wear, album mount marks at corners and some soiling .Size is 3.5" x 5.5"
