Vintage Postcards

Vintage original embossed Christmas postcard featuring Santa Claus with a boy and girl. Santa is giving the little girl a doll. Reads, "Christmas Greetings". A Stecher Quality postcard made in the U.S.A. Measures the standard 3.5 x 5.5 inches.

Card is used with writing on back and Odell, Nebraska cancellation.

Condition is good with edge and corner wear and bumped upper right corner.

Published by by A. V. Pease and Co., Fairbury Nebraska. Original postcard dating to circa 1910s.

Card has not been mailed. Condition is very good with light edge and corner wear and writing on the bottom front and an arrow drawn pointing down to one of the buildings.

Original antique New Year postcard. Card is embossed and features six gnomes. The gnomes are dancing about, some playing horns, some watching a big gold clock. Reads, "Happy New Year Greetings."

Condition is very good with light edge and corner wear. Some tiny soiled spots, including on clock face. Age toning to the back.

Antique original 1920s Christmas Greetings Postcard. Art Deco motif featuring lit candles, ornaments and greenery. Reads, "Continual Christmas Joy. A Christmas full of cheer and gladness, A Year that knows no pang of sadness, A life where always skies are blue, Is my season's wish for you."

Card number 1115 Christmas Series. Card is used with correspondence written in ink. 1927 cancellation and two cent stamp.

Condition is very good with some edge and corner wear and light soiling.

Vintage 1910s Best Wishes Greeting Postcard featuring a beautiful lady in a large hat, standing at an open window. Lady is holding a bouquet of Purple Violets and a bouquet of Red Carnations is lying next to her. Lovely coloring on this card.

Card is used with 1911 Fairbury, Nebraska cancellation and Helvey, Nebraska postmark. Card was printed in Germany.

Condition is excellent with slight edge and corner wear.

Council Grove, Kansas pennant postcards. This listing is for both the cards pictured. One shows "A Quiet Nook near Council Grove", the other shows cattle grazing.

Both cards are postmarked 1920 Council Grove, KS.

Top card is addressed to: Miss Mildred Jorn at Peru, Nebraska. Bottom card is addressed to: Mr. C.A. Jorn at Verdon, Nebraska.

Condition for both is good. They do show edge and corner wear and bottom card has some bleed through to the front, from the cancellation mark. Cattle card also has a light crease to the lower right corner. Both measure 5 1/2 x 3 5/8 inches.

This wonderful vintage linen travel souvenir postcard dates to the 1940s and shows the Hotel Norfolk at Norfolk, Nebraska. Card number 7A347 N. Shows old cars parked along the curbs, old street lights and a couple other buildings.

Card is used with 1944 Madison, Nebraska cancellation along with an Industry Agriculture one cent stamp. Addressed to Mrs Clara Perry at East Wareham, Massachusetts.

Condition is very good with light edge and corner wear, some cancellation bleed through onto the front sky area, and small crease lower right corner.
