Ry. have constructed a steel double track railroad bridge across the Mississippi River at Clinton, to supercede the old single track bridge which has been in use since 1865. This bridge is the most massive construction of any railroad bridge on the Mississippi.

Both cards are postmarked 1920 Council Grove, KS.
Top card is addressed to: Miss Mildred Jorn at Peru, Nebraska. Bottom card is addressed to: Mr. C.A. Jorn at Verdon, Nebraska.
Condition for both is good. They do show edge and corner wear and bottom card has some bleed through to the front, from the cancellation mark. Cattle card also has a light crease to the lower right corner. Both measure 5 1/2 x 3 5/8 inches.
